There are three major professional teams in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Raiders:  a professional American-football team from the Las Vegas metropolitan area. Their home games are played at Allegiant Stadium and their headquarter is in Henderson.

Founded on January 30, 1960, and originally based in Oakland, California

The Vegas Golden Knights:  a professional ice-hockey team from the metropolitan area. Founded in 2017, their home games are played at T-Mobile Arena.

Las Vegas Aces: a professional basketball team, founded just before the 1997 season. Their home  games are played in the Michelob Ultra Arena.
